Olivia turned six today!! This morning started out with Olivia's favorite breakfast, swedish pancakes. For dinner she picked a menu of grilled hot dogs (turkey burgers for the adults), celery with peanut butter, lots of fruit, salad with ranch and an angel food cake with strawberries for dessert. Happy birthday, Olivia! We love you!

A Day at the Arboretum

We spent the morning at the Arcadia Arboretum and the kids loved it. Liam got in a fight with a goose, they played in a house made of sticks, fed ducks and just ran around wild.

Liam tried to get too close to a goose so Julia grabbed him.

The goose was being mean to Liam but it didn't scare Liam. Instead of standing back, he picked up a stick and yelled, "I'm gonna fight-chu!" and then chased after the goose. 

Liam swiped at the goose and the goose got M.A.D.

Liam scared him away. Victory!

Liam wanted more.

The goose came back and Julia ran.

Double Digits

Julia turned 10 and that makes me very old. We had a great celebration at the Daines' in California with a surprise party for Julia. Cousins, Aunts, Uncles and even Grandma and Grandpa Patterson drove in for the special occasion. She was shocked, happy and felt so loved!
