Happy (Snowy) Easter

Easter was a snowy one this year. Here's some highlights...

Liam is looking for his Easter basket and he's getting a little frustrated at this point. Easter Bunny hid baskets well this year.

He found it and he looks pretty excited about the golden chocolate bunny.

Julia finally found hers, in her room, after hunting for a LONG time.

Our Easter egg hunt was done in the snow this year. Out of 9 years living in Utah, this was our first Easter in the snow.

Liam sees the Golden Egg in this down-spout extender. He's a little nervous to stick his hand in there.

He's not liking that he can see the Golden Egg but can't get it out.

Olivia is brave enough to stick her hand in the dark hole.

While opening the egg, snow gave way from the basketball rim above them and blasted them with snow. Liam did NOT like that.

Olivia is sharing the money with Liam. He's hesitant to take it because he wants ALL of it.

He finally takes a twenty.

But he's mad he didn't get all the money. We are still working on his sharing skills.

Now he's starting to have a hissy fit.

Julia approaches the scene, realizing that the Golden Egg has been found. She is less than happy that she didn't get to it first.

She starts giving her dad a piece of her mind. She says he rigged it and it wasn't fair. That Golden Egg seems to cause family trouble every year.

Checking out their goods, making trades, and counting money.

We ended the hunt with ebelskivers for breakfast - family favorite.

Vicki the pictures of Liam made me laugh so hard! My kids had a hard time finding the Golden Egg this year too...I thought it was funny though because they are so big.
Your breakfast looks yummy! Your kids are getting sooooo big!
